"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." - Psalm 139:13-16 (NIV)

Today was almost a meltdown for mommy......Sitting at work, I thought about how my little buddy is starting to recognize he's different from everyone else. Sure, he knew he was different from his sister, although they're twins......he's a boy, she's a girl, different complexions, height and weight.....no big deal and of course I'm not so naive to think that as an infant or toddler, he didn't know his hands were different, BUT, what was I to do when the following statement came out of his cute little mouth...."Mommy, I want two big hands!"..........Thank GOD I was ready with an answer. "Mason, have you noticed how all of your friends love you and think that you are so super cool because you can do EVERYTHING they can do, but you do it with one hand?! 'They're like....Mason is so cool, he's amazing, did you see him climb up on the playground, and dunk that basketball or throw that football and run really fast!?' Mason, you're so amazing and you can do anything you want!"  After saying all of this, my little boy's eyes lit up and he was bubbling over with excitement....he asked, "Am I super cool mommy?"..... "Yes you are buddy!" (in my mind I'm thinking, you have no idea) I'm so glad this answer was sufficient......for now.....but, what happens tomorrow or 5 & 10 years down the line? Lord, give me the  right words, and give him the courage and confidence...... Please???!!!

I don't look forward to those moments. Mason is lucky to have such an awesome support system and so many people to point out all his skills and talents! SUPER COOL! :)
